After-School Tutoring

Readers 2 Leaders Tutoring provides additional reading support to Dallas elementary students after the school day ends.

Readers 2 Leaders After-School program provides reading tutoring and academic enrichment to 45 students at Readers 2 Leaders Booktown Learning Center in West Dallas.

Program Includes:

  • Small group instruction

  • Explicit, systematic phonics review

  • Comprehension support

  • Authentic, high-quality literature                 

  • Hands-on STEM and SEL activities

  • Lending library of over 5,000 titles for students and families

When

Monday through Thursday
3:30pm - 5:30pm
Children are provided with a snack

Cost

$45 per month

Monthly program fees are waived for students that meet attendance requirements.
Financial assistance is available.

Eligibility Requirements:

To participate in OST programming at Readers 2 Leaders, students must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Must be enrolled in Kindergarten- 5th grade.

  2. Students must be in need of additional reading support to reach grade level, as demonstrated on our assessments

  3. Students must live or go to school in Dallas County

  4. Students must have met attendance requirements in past R2L programs

  5. Family must have a zero balance or unpaid fees from past R2L programs
